Recently, Tristate Household Goods Tariff Conference, Inc. announced that the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) published a Final Rulemaking Order that reduces household goods common carrier restrictions and authorizing moving companies to provide service state-wide. In addition, the liability coverage limit was increased to a minimum of $750,000 for carriers, which means that more of home and business owners’ belongings will be afforded greater coverage in the event of loss or damage.
