This summer, Allied Van Lines has partnered with Move for Hunger to contribute in raising awareness on hunger and food waste in the country, while using an ingenious solution to help address this problem in a constructive way.

Relocation, for most people, involves a decluttering process of the home. This means a good deal of household items are being thrown away just before a move. Unfortunately, a huge portion of these items is food—from perishable to non-perishable items of all kinds. Instead of tossing out unwanted food items, the Move for Hunger program facilitates the pick-up and delivery of unwanted food items to local food banks, which will then be shared to families in need.
